Match=1 prestrip=2 means if the first pattern (in this case the only) matches, strip the first 2 digits and make the call.
(#15551212 actually dials 5551212)

The account used is determined by the #1 for account 1
#4 for account 4 etc.

Thanks - so if I wanted to combine the two, would I just concatenate them like this?

#1\a\a.T;match=1;prestrip=2;xxxxxxxxxxT;match=1;pre=1

And if so, what is the concatenation logic? Does the second string get applied after the first even if there's no match on the first?

Hello,

I want to append a string to the dialed number. In detail I need to add "@fritz.fonwlan.box" after the number.
I try with this dialing plan:

#1\a\a.T;match=1;prestrip=2;post=@fritz.fonwlan.box

but with no effect.
I read the documentation but I'm not able to do the trick.
Thanks!
Marco

Hi Marco
I doubt you'll be able to append a domain.

What a pity!
I may insert it with the keyboard every time, but it's really annoying!

With a properly setup SIP account there should be no need to enter a complete SIP_URI.
(Unless you are calling on-net our of domain)

How can I parse extensions included in a number?

Something like
999-999-9999 x123 in my address book
works nicely on my BlackBerry - pauses after the ten digit number, waits for an 'OK' to dial the extension after dropping the 'x'

Is there a recommended way to handle numbers with extensions?

At a minimum, can we at least drop everything after the 'x' so the main number will dial?

There is no built in provision for such removal.
If all numbers have an extention you could try a poststrip, or perhaps a post strip after a letter and 3 digits.
I have not tested here.

New to poststrip - can I specify this along with the prepend of a '1' so that if there are 10 digits plus anything it prepends '1' and then poststrip after a letter and any number of digits? Or do I need separate rules for each condition?

Details on Dial Plan construction are in the appendix of the user guide for each of our soft phones. :)

Hi everyone:

I need your help. I want to add a 9 before the phone number. Example, if i want to call to 55123456 (8 digits), i need put the 9 before: 955123456.
My current dial plan is:

#1\a\a.T;match=1;prestrip=2;

I hope someone could help me. Thanks, have a nice day.

Hi,

When I double click on a missed call in the calling history, the new call is placed on the account where the call originates from.
But how can I place this call to be dialled via my default account instead?

Thanks for help in advance!

Is it possible to control calls according to the time they are made? E.g. I'd want to use one outgoing line for evenings and weekends and a different one during the weekday. Seems an obvious requirement to me, but I'm having difficulty finding ANY software that can do this.

Can Bria?

If not, why not? As I said, it seems such an obvious requirement to me.
